This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping organizations secure their cloud environments and digital assets. As a CyberSecurity Consultant, you will provide expert guidance on cloud security, architecture, and compliance, focusing primarily on Microsoft cloud platforms. You will work closely with clients to assess business challenges, design robust security strategies, and implement solutions that balance risk mitigation with operational efficiency. This position involves both technical leadership and consultative responsibilities, including developing reports, presentations, and implementation plans. You will participate in multiple projects simultaneously, providing innovative, cost-effective, and security-focused solutions. Working in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment, you will help organizations achieve resilience against evolving cyber threats.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and frameworks aligned with clients’ business goals and regulatory requirements
- Design, configure, and integrate advanced security controls, including SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and identity/access management solutions
- Provide secure architecture guidance for systems, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance mandates
- Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing timely communication for escalations or concerns
- Conduct research on emerging threats, cybersecurity trends, and technologies, contributing to thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or related roles
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security, network security, and enterprise architecture, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft security tools (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Security Center, Intune, Entra, Purview, Priva) and security solution management/integration technologies
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, ARM templates, Jenkins, GitHub, REST/SOAP APIs) and DevSecOps practices
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (CIS, NIST, PCI, HIPAA) and experience applying them in IT, network, and cloud architectures
