This is a high-impact role for an experienced security engineer who thrives in fast-paced, technically challenging environments. You will be responsible for securing systems, applications, and infrastructure across a growing platform used by thousands of developers. The role offers broad exposure to modern security challenges, from vulnerability management and secure coding practices to compliance and automation. You will work closely with engineering leadership to build scalable security processes, tools, and practices that protect critical systems. - Own end-to-end vulnerability management, continuously testing and improving the security of APIs, authentication systems, and access controls
- Build automation and tooling to proactively detect, prevent, and remediate security issues across applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineers to elevate secure coding practices and integrate security into the development lifecycle
- Support broader security initiatives, including compliance, certifications, and coordination with external security researchers
- Contribute to defining and enforcing platform-wide security policies and standards
- Mentor team members on security best practices and incident response procedures
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or infrastructure security
- Strong understanding of core security principles, including authentication, access control, and cryptography
- Experience with cloud environments and modern security testing practices (penetration testing, vulnerability scanning)
- Ability to read, understand, and secure modern codebases across multiple languages and frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
