About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Customer Service Representative serves customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains customer focus at all times and provides solutions to customer needs. Follows customer support processes and completes tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Addresses incoming inquiries and qualifies customer needs
- Take customer credit card payment information.
- Communicate with customers via email and telephone.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Prepares quotes and invoices for customers
- Answer customer questions and take messages for the sales team and management. • File and Scan documents to maintain for record retention purposes • Greets visitors to the facility and takes calls, and messages, for the sales team and members of management.
- Maintains professional working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and management
- Maintains product knowledge • Observe and promote Company standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity. • Assists other departments as needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (one or more of the following):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of experience in customer service experience.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment

- Two or more years of customer service or call center experience
- QuickBooks experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to maintain high energy within a self-directed environment.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and successfully multi-task with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous working knowledge of customer support processes and practices.
- Familiarity of soft sales techniques and practices.
- Ability to accepts and adapt to change in a positive manner.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications , including proficiency with EXCEL.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
