About the RoleAs a Cook at Lakeview, you will be an essential part of creating outstanding dining experiences for our guests. You will prepare high-quality, flavorful meals that reflect our commitment to quality, presentation, and nutrition. Working collaboratively with the kitchen team, you’ll help bring menus to life through thoughtful preparation, seasonal creativity, and consistent execution. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment
Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen procedures
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
Experience working in a high-volume or resort dining environment
Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest feedback
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, including proper food storage and sanitation practices
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and supplies as needed
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely, efficient service—especially during peak service periods
Strong culinary skills with a commitment to quality and consistency
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation and food safety compliance
Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative kitchen culture
Creativity and adaptability to contribute to menu development and enhance the guest dining experience
