Job Status: Hourly, Full Time

Job Summary:

The Call Center Admissions Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for individuals and families seeking treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is responsible for responding to inbound inquiries, conducting preliminary screenings, gathering essential information, and guiding prospective patients through the admissions process with empathy, accuracy, and efficiency. The coordinator collaborates with clinical, medical, and administrative teams to ensure timely, appropriate, and compassionate admissions that align with Alpas Wellness’s standards of care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial contact for all incoming calls, offering a welcoming and supportive experience.

  • Accurately assess each caller’s situation to determine the appropriate level of care.

  • Clearly communicate insurance benefits and any associated out-of-pocket costs.

  • Maintain consistent communication with potential patients through phone, chat, email, and other channels to ensure a positive experience.

  • Collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of working independently.

  • Identify and resolve potential barriers to treatment quickly and efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the CRM system.

  • Conduct daily follow-up calls with all active leads to maintain engagement.

  • Deliver empathy, compassion, and understanding in every interaction.

  • Clearly explain the Alpas treatment model and program offerings.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in behavioral healthcare or a related field is preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in using computers and navigating digital systems

  • If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required

  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills

  • Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality

  • Dignified character that models recovery principles

Schedule:

  • 7am to 3:30pm

  • 3:30pm to 12am

Compensation:

  • $26.44 per hour
