  • We're on the lookout for a standout Sales Engineer to take the lead as a technical advisor to both our customers and our internal teams.
  • Youll play the key role of bringing Ethenas product to life for customers and prospects, connecting the technology to the strategic outcomes they want to drive. You will also play a pivotal role internally, serving as product and enablement expert across Ethenas commercial team.

  • Christina Rosivack, Head of Sales
What you'll do
  • Partner with AEs and CSMs during the sales cycle to understand customer needs, demo Ethenas platform with technical and contextual fluency, and create proposals that address customer pain points.
  • Own and continuously refine the Ethena demo environment to reflect latest AI features, use cases, and real-world client setups.
  • Build custom walkthroughs, prototypes, or lightly tailored demos for strategic deals (e.g., custom content builds, course editing demonstrations, integrations).
  • Translate product, content and AI feature specs into customer-ready language - both in live calls and sales assets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our solutions, fielding technical and implementation-related questions on topics such as data security, HRIS integrations, and customization capabilities.
  • Collect real-time feedback from prospects and relay back to Product and Engineering.
  • Support RFPs, pilots, and security reviews with accurate, compelling responses.
  • Create and maintain sales-ready assets (talk tracks, decks, video tutorials/looms, objection handling)
What makes a great candidate
  • Prior experience in a Sales Engineering, Sales, or Implementation capacity at a SaaS company
  • Ability to tell a clear story with a technical product - especially on calls with HR, IT, Security, and Legal stakeholders
  • Experience supporting both discovery and technical demo stages of a sales cycle
  • High ownership - youll be the go-to on all things demo, pre-sales technical strategy, and product fluency
  • Credibility with sales reps and the confidence to work closely with leadership
  • Bias toward clarity, fast execution, and iteration over polish
  • Strong grasp of AI-powered tools, APIs, and enterprise integrations (LMS, HRIS, SSO, etc.)
  • A self-starter who thrives in a hands-off management environment someone who takes ownership of their work with a roll up your sleeves mentality, is comfortable with ambiguity, proactively identifies problems and solutions, and drives their work forward with minimal oversight.

Compensation
  • Below is the annual On Target Earnings (OTE) range, depending on experience.
Base Salary: $125,000 $145,000Variable (Commission/Bonus): $15,000 $30,000 OTEAt Ethena, we're committed to fair and equitable compensation. We carefully evaluate each candidate's skills and qualifications to provide our best possible offer upfront. Our no-negotiation policy ensures that our first offer is always our best offer, promoting pay equity throughout our organization.

Physical DemandsThis is sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing in a home office environment.
LocationEthena is a remote-first organization and is currently hiring candidates based in the United States.We are not currently offering employer visa sponsorship for this role.
