This role is crucial in supporting cloud-based migration and development environments. The DevOps Engineer will facilitate automated continuous deployment, operational monitoring, and ensure security across software platforms. Your contributions will directly impact our partner company's efficiency and innovation in their research efforts.Accountabilities
- Act as a technical authority for DevOps and DevSecOps solutions across the environment
- Design and architect secure, scalable CI/CD and infrastructure platforms
- Write, debug, and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Puppet or Terraform
- Build CI/CD pipeline configurations for provisioning and deploying systems
- Own architectural decisions, technical documentation, and implementation guidance
- Review technical work products to ensure quality, security, and compliance
- Integrate security automation into pipelines
- Collaborate with the team to support cloud platform development using various programming languages
- Lead vulnerability mitigation and compliance alignment
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of overall experience in the field
- Experience with enterprise cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) using AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong familiarity with modern DevOps principles and tools
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting FISMA-regulated or FedRAMP-authorized environments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $132,000
