Since 1972, Therapeutic Health Services (THS) has provided evidence-based, culturally appropriate and compassionate behavioral health treatment, programs and services for children, youth, and families with substance use and mental health disorders. We are on the frontlines:

We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our Mental Health team. Collaborates with Senior Program Managers and the Chief Mental Health Officer to ensure smooth daily operations of THS Mental Health Programs. The schedule for this position is in-person, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The pay for this role is $26.00 - $28.70 per hour.

Requirements:
  • Maintain Mental Health Program operating procedures in accordance with laws, regulations, and guidance from Senior Program Managers and the Chief Mental Health Officer.
  • Prepare statistical and administrative reports, including caseloads, productivity, incomplete services, monthly summaries, and census data.
  • Coordinate meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and handling logistics.
  • Support applicant management for Mental Health Teams, both internally and through platforms like Indeed.
  • Assign and track onboarding tasks to ensure all administrative steps for new staff are completed.
  • Manage team communication tools, including email lists, Microsoft Teams groups, staff-out calendars, and contact lists.
  • Contact clients by phone, email, or mail to support scheduling and service coordination.
  • Assist with preparation for program audits (CARF, KC BHO, WA DOH, contracts, insurance).
  • Pull client chart records as needed to support Senior Program Managers and the Chief Mental Health Officer.
  • Provide administrative support during meetings with program leadership.
  • Help collect and submit required contract reports.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain program materials.
  • Assist clinical staff with approved non-clinical tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: ·

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; work experience may substitute for degree
  • Computer proficiency; Microsoft Office Suite software a must
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • Demonstrate cultural humility in professional interactions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to converse with and listen to people in many different settings
  • Ability to use a computer and telephone, as well as other standard office equipment
  • Mobility requirements may involve navigating various work areas, including stairs or ramps
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, and/or carry supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Work takes place in a social services environment where long periods of sitting, working on a computer, and standing (with accommodations provided for specific positions)
  • Travel to program sites and meetings outside the site and around the county are necessary
  • Ability to work in an environment where there may be animals present, including dogs
