• Manage overall Group Life & Disability underwriting for National Accounts (5,000+ lives).
• Oversee pre and post-sale underwriting, profit management, and renewal processing.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Drive and participate in projects and special assignments.
• Collaborate with field teams to meet service goals.
• Handle quotes and renewals for core products.
• Negotiate prices and benefits with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior underwriters and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Employee Benefits underwriting experience.
• Proven ability to build solid relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with high energy and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
