- Manage overall Group Life & Disability underwriting for National Accounts (5,000+ lives).
- Oversee pre and post-sale underwriting, profit management, and renewal processing.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Drive and participate in projects and special assignments.
- Collaborate with field teams to meet service goals.
- Handle quotes and renewals for core products.
- Negotiate prices and benefits with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior underwriters and staff.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Employee Benefits underwriting experience.
- Proven ability to build solid relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with high energy and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
- Competitive salary range between $88,080 - $149,400.
