Advantage Asphalt Paving LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Asphalt Screed / Paver Operator to join our field operations team. This role is critical to producing smooth, consistent, high-quality asphalt surfaces on residential, commercial, and government projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, understands grade and mat control, and works efficiently as part of a paving crew to deliver top-tier results on every job.

• Operate asphalt paver screed to achieve proper grade, slope, and mat thickness
• Work closely with the paving foreman and crew to maintain smooth, consistent asphalt surfaces
• Make manual screed adjustments as needed throughout paving operations
• Monitor material flow, temperature, and mat quality
• Assist with paving setup, breakdown, and daily equipment maintenance
• Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures
• Support additional paving-related tasks as needed to keep projects moving efficiently

• 3+ years of asphalt paving experience preferred
• Previous screed or paver operation experience strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of asphalt paving techniques, grade, and mat control
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively under pressure
• Safety-minded with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
• Valid drivers license required (CDL is a plus but not required)

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 $36.00 per hour
