ABOUT US:
Tomarco Contractor Specialties, LLP dba ISAT Total Support, is a wholesale distributor within the construction industry with strategic manufacturing partners. Tomarco prides itself on being the global leader in the development and sale of innovative engineering fastening systems and application solutions. Started in 1977, Tomarco designs, manufactures, and distributes non-structural engineering and design systems for construction applications.
This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and general organization of materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle daily customer phone orders with accuracy and professionalism.
- Field all incoming Tomarco telephone calls, ensuring proper distribution and timely handling of messages/faxes.
- Enter items and pricing into the system for sales orders.
- Prioritize customer orders and coordinate with production teams to meet deadlines.
- Provide production support and coordination as needed.
- Deliver top-notch customer satisfaction, treating every customer with respect and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; be organized, punctual, and friendly toward coworkers, customers, and vendors.
- Coordinate with outside transportation companies to arrange incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, trucks, and related machinery.
- Submit all required paperwork in a timely and legible manner.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Create accurate invoicing information for each Tomarco sales order.
- Generate shipping labels and manage shipments for Tomarco staff as needed.
- Prepare custom quotes, letterheads, quote packages, brochures, and company profiles for the sales team.
- Follow up on open orders to ensure timely billing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience (construction supply experience strongly preferred).
- Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Professional, organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP/CRM systems experience a plus.
- Familiarity with the construction industry or construction background preferred.
- Ability to work independently while following instructions and procedures.
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
