Site Construction Manager at Dome Technology LLC – West Olive, Michigan

The Opportunity You will serve as the primary field leader for the worlds premier dome building company, overseeing complex bulk storage solutions. This role empowers you to direct high-stakes industrial projects while upholding a global reputation for innovation and engineering excellence.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Direct all on-site project activities including safety protocols, schedule management, and quality assurance.

• Supervise and mentor Construction Superintendents, Foremen, and Technicians to drive professional growth.

• Coordinate overlapping scopes and manage multiple subcontractors to maintain peak operational efficiency.

• Monitor progress and budget reports to proactively develop contingency plans for project shortfalls.

• Evaluate and select subcontractors while reviewing and negotiating project change orders.

• Ensure all sites comply with company, client, and regulatory safety standards without exception.

• Review structural engineering plans to coordinate the procurement of major project materials.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of construction-related experience with three years in a project management role.

• Advanced proficiency in reading and executing blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

• Strong technical understanding of concrete, rebar, and complex steel erection processes.

• Proven ability to plan and forecast project needs 3-4 weeks in advance.

• Expertise in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of construction budgets and job costs.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Specific experience managing steel building scopes such as stair towers and conveyor systems.

• Demonstrated training skills with a passion for mentoring field staff.
