This is a senior-level accounting leadership role responsible for overseeing global accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across a complex, multi-entity organization. You will lead both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across close processes, consolidation, payroll, AP, and statutory reporting. The role combines hands-on technical accounting expertise with strategic leadership, acting as a key partner to FP&A, IT, Legal, and business teams. You will play a central role in strengthening internal controls, improving financial systems, and driving automation and process efficiency. This is a high-impact position suited for a leader who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys building scalable accounting functions. Your work will directly support accurate financial visibility and informed decision-making across the organization.
Lead global accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all entities, while strengthening internal controls and supporting business growth through scalable processes.
- Oversee accounting close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage key accounting functions including payroll, AP, fixed assets, accruals, equity administration, and international subsidiaries.
- Lead and mentor a distributed accounting team across the US and offshore locations, fostering high performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with global tax, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
- Drive ERP system optimization, integrations, and accounting automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, IT, Legal, and business teams to support financial planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
This role requires a highly experienced accounting leader with strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to manage complex, global financial environments. You bring a hands-on leadership style, deep knowledge of US GAAP, and experience building scalable accounting organizations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls.
- Experience managing offshore or shared services accounting teams.
- Proven ability to lead ERP implementations or work with systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working alongside FP&A, IT, Legal, and external auditors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement, automation, and accounting transformation initiatives.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making is a plus.
- Strong leadership mindset with a track record of mentoring and developing accounting talent.
- Competitive base salary range: $180,000 – $210,000 USD.
