Ready to outhustle the competition? Let's talk.
About the role
Our competitors say a mat is a mat. They're sitting on their hands waiting for the phone to ring. We're not.
AcroMat is looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to outhustle, outrun, and outpace the competition. From our office in Lakeville, MN, you'll own the top of AcroMat's sales pipeline — handling inbound leads, prospecting new accounts, and qualifying opportunities before handing off a clean SQL to our Account Executive team.
This isn't a passive role. You'll be making calls, sending emails, working LinkedIn, and doing whatever it takes to build relationships with Safety managers, Manufacturing Engineers, Plant Managers, and CI Champions at some of the world's leading manufacturers. When a prospect is ready, you hand them off, working closely with the Account Executives.
What you'll do
- Handle all inbound leads — research, vet, update HubSpot, and initiate contact promptly
- Prospect and identify new accounts across manufacturing, food processing, aerospace, medical device, and distribution
- Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, text, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings — whatever it takes to establish a relationship
- Qualify leads by tier (A, B, C, D) and advance them through the pipeline to the SQL handoff
- Book appointments and hand off clean, qualified SQLs to the Account Executive team
- Maintain control of every conversation — always know what the next step is and own it
- Log every activity, every contact, and every pipeline update in HubSpot — if it's not in the CRM, it didn't happen
Who You Are
- Hungry — you don't wait for leads, you go find them
- Humble — you're coachable, you follow the process, and you know the details matter
- Smart — you qualify fast, you listen well, and you always go into a conversation with an objective
- Resilient — objections don't rattle you, they sharpen you
- Disciplined — you follow up relentlessly and let nothing fall through the cracks
- A natural relationship builder with Safety managers, Engineers, and Plant Managers.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in business development, inside sales, or a prospecting-heavy role
- CRM experience; HubSpot is a plus
- Comfortable with virtual selling tools — Phone, Email, LinkedIn, Zoom Info, Microsoft Teams
- Strong communicator — clear, direct, no fluff
- B2B or industrial sales experience is a plus, not a must
The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 80,000 USD per year(US)
