This role sits at the intersection of product management, data science, and AI-driven computer vision technologies, focusing on transforming complex datasets into actionable risk intelligence products. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data and model-driven features, from discovery and definition through to launch and iteration. The position plays a key role in shaping how advanced machine learning outputs are translated into practical tools used by clients to assess property and climate-related risks. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and external stakeholders to define requirements, validate models, and ensure product-market fit. The environment is fast-paced, highly analytical, and innovation-driven, requiring strong ownership and adaptability. - Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for data-driven and computer vision-based features, from ideation and discovery through to delivery and iteration.
- Define product strategy and roadmap for machine learning and risk modeling solutions by analyzing complex datasets and business needs.
- Translate data science insights into clear product requirements and engineering specifications to guide development teams.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and software engineers to build, validate, and improve predictive models and AI-powered features.
- Act as the subject matter expert for model-driven products when engaging with customers, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Continuously iterate on product features in a fast-paced environment, leveraging feedback and performance data to improve outcomes.
- Support the integration of advanced AI and computer vision capabilities into scalable data products.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in analytics, data science, financial modeling, risk modeling, climate modeling, or related quantitative fields.
- 1–2 years of product management experience working with data products or model-based systems.
- Strong academic background in Engineering, Sciences, Commerce, or another quantitative discipline.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel for data analysis and product validation.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical and analytical concepts into clear business and product requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience creating executive-level materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in leveraging them to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Exposure to insurance, real estate, or risk modeling domains is a plus.
- Experience with computer vision or machine learning products is a strong advantage.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
