Working closely with the Head of IT and a small engineering team, you will have significant autonomy to shape tooling and processes. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and building scalable IT solutions in a modern cloud-first environment.

- Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related services.
- Administer and maintain endpoint fleets using Microsoft Intune, including device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and Autopilot provisioning.
- Oversee the full device lifecycle, from procurement and deployment to retirement and secure disposal, working with logistics partners.
- Maintain and enhance IT service desk workflows, SLAs, and automation processes to improve service efficiency.
- Support cybersecurity operations using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including alert investigation, policy tuning, and incident response.
- Contribute to security posture improvements, ISO 27001 alignment, Cyber Essentials compliance, and zero-trust initiatives.
- Design and implement automation using PowerShell, Graph API, and Power Automate to streamline IT operations and eliminate manual tasks.
- Lead or contribute to IT projects across infrastructure, tooling, identity management, and security improvements.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Proven experience managing endpoint devices at scale using Intune, including compliance policies, app deployment, and Autopilot.
- Solid understanding of identity and access management, conditional access policies, and zero-trust security principles.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API, with experience in IT automation (other automation tools also considered).
- Experience supporting or working with IT service desk systems and structured support workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and cloud-based environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first, small-team environment with strong ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices, including endpoint security and access governance.
- Desirable: experience with Power Automate, ZTNA tools (e.g. Entra Private Access), Endpoint Privilege Management, ITSM platforms, or SaaS environments.
- Interest in or experience using AI tools to improve IT operations and automation workflows.
- Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with option to purchase additional days.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave policies.
- Private health insurance including dental, optical, and mental health coverage.
- Home office stipend and broadband allowance.
- Life assurance at 4x basic salary.
- Funded and encouraged professional development (CPD).
- Flexible, remote-first working environment within a collaborative team culture.
