**$5,000 Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**



  • Work location: 1105 Central Expressway North, Suite 120, Allen, TX 75013
  • Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Travel: 50 % to surrounding clinics as needed ( mileage reimbursement provided )

Here's What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)
  • 2 years of Medical Assistant Clinic experience (strongly preferred)
  • Front- and back-office experience (strongly preferred), along with the flexibility and willingness to work across both areas as business needs arise
  • Able to perform EKGs independently (strongly preferred)
  • ACLS or BCLS (preferred)
  • EMR/EPIC experience (preferred)
  • Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood and administer injections
  • Basic computer skills using medical management application systems
  • Effectively communicate with staff and patients
  • Thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations
  • Demonstrate sound judgement in emergency situations
  • Take appropriate action in urgent circumstances
  • Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward staff and patients
  • Possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism


What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
  • Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures including but not limited to placing Heart Monitors and perform routine tests such as EKG.
  • Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and reconcile current medications and presenting problem.
  • Documents patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider.
  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
  • Prepares, cleans, and sterilizes instruments and maintains equipment, disposing of contaminated items according to protocol. Keeps patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly. Ensures safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required.
  • Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s).
  • May answer phones and work in the front office as needed, as well as perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
