Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Senior Structural Designer for our Muscatine, IA office.What You Will Be Doing:

• Determining client requirements and developing drawings and related documents.
• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and design schedules for projects.
• Evaluating the need for design changes and communicating appropriate recommendations to structural lead.
• Leading the generation of a drawing set with minimal input from engineer.
• Consulting with engineers concerning design constructability.
• Compensated overtime to fit project need and team workload.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in the design of buildings and other structures utilizing at least 2 of the following programs; Open Buildings, Revit, AutoCAD, or Microstation.
• Experience in concrete and structural steel design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.
• 8+ years of relevant structural design experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with government design standards such as Unified Facilities Criteria.
• Power generation experience.
• Experience in Masonry, CFS, or Wood Design.

Stanleys Approach to FlexibilityWhile some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
