Position Description:
Wade Trim is seeking a Survey Summer Intern for our Survey group in our Bay City office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelors degree in surveying, geographic information systems, civil and/or environmental engineering and a valid drivers license is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, punctual, reliable, very organized and have excellent communication skills.Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist in field activities including surveying operations within active roadways and construction sites. Potential work may include construction staking, topographic mapping, structure inventory, wetland delineation mapping
• Assist in the preparation of preliminary project plans, cost estimates and evaluate quantities
• Conduct on-site inspections as needed
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in surveying, geographic information systems, civil and/or environmental engineering.

Skills/Experience:

• Valid Drivers License
