Emergency Department Technician-Emergency Department at Southwestern Vermont Health Care – Bennington, Vermont

Join SVMC's team as an ED Tech! Under the supervision of a physician, mid-level provider and/or registered nurse, the ED Technician is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed patient care.

In addition, this position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical leadership and support to the Emergency Department of SVMC. This position will also serve as the liaison between the Emergency Department services and other various departments within the organization.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of Medical terminology required.
• Prior experience in the medical field preferred.
• Current EMT Certification, VT LPN or LNA required.
