Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and maintain construction sites by clearing debris and eliminating hazards
- Set up and remove barricades and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Load, unload, transport, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades with setup and tasks
- Pour and spread concrete and other construction materials as needed
- Perform measurements and mark reference points accurately
- Direct, train, and supervise crew members; assign daily tasks and monitor performance
- Enforce OSHA standards and ensure required PPE is used at all times
- Order, monitor, and stage materials to maintain efficient workflow
- Operate equipment such as jackhammers, earth tampers, and small machinery
- Maintain daily logs and report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment concerns
- Support project schedules to ensure timely and quality completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction or manual labor experience required
- 12 years of leadership experience preferred for lead responsibilities
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and layout tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment
- Valid drivers license required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain during employment)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear direction
- Consistent attendance and punctuality required
- A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
- Regular use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding

Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (approximately 45 hours per week)
- Occasional extended hours and weekend work as required by project needs
Work Location & Travel
- Based in Mankato, MN
- Projects located across multiple remote job sites
- Travel required based on project location and business needs
- Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required
- Per diem and travel support provided when applicable
