About This Position
Azure Operational Lead (m/f/d)
As an Azure Operational Lead (m/f/d), you are responsible for operational quality, coordinate teams, enforce standards, and drive the continuous improvement of our cloud services.
You ensure that Azure environments not only run—but are operated at the highest level.
What you will do with us- You oversee the operational quality of all Azure-related tickets and ensure high standards in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- You review incident resolutions, root cause analyses, and change implementations for completeness and quality.
- You maintain and manage runbooks, changelogs, and operational documentation for Azure environments.
- You provide technical and process-related guidance to the Operations team and ensure consistent implementation of best practices.
- You monitor Azure environments regarding availability, performance, and stability using Azure Monitor and related tools.
- You act as the central point of contact for critical operational issues and proactively coordinate their resolution with engineering and architecture teams to ensure smooth operations.
- You have solid experience with Microsoft Azure core services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, and App Services.
- You are familiar with incident, problem, and change management processes and ideally have ITIL experience.
- Operational governance, ticket quality control, and service delivery support are second nature to you.
- You have experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, production support, and Azure-specific tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Backup.
- Ideally, you have experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI), ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice), or Azure certifications such as AZ104.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
