JOB SUMMARY
The QISS supports Park Center’s quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness by maintaining accurate, reliable data and supporting core systems, including the EHR and reporting platforms. This role conducts and analyzes data audits, identifies trends, and prepares reports that support quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness, regulatory requirements, and leadership decision-making.
This position also provides day-to-day EHR and systems support, assists with workflow updates, and develops training and documentation to promote consistent, high-quality documentation and efficient operations across programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Data Management, Reporting & Quality Support
a. Enter, update, and validate operational and quality-related data across Park Center systems with a high level of accuracy.
b. Conduct EHR data audits to identify missing or incomplete documentation and confirm resolution.
c. Collaborate with the QI Director to analyze data, identify trends, and support quality improvement initiatives.
d. Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating workflow changes to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
e. Compile, generate, and prepare routine and ad-hoc reports across platforms (EHR, LMS, etc.) to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Support
a. Maintain working knowledge of applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., CARF, TennCare, Department of Mental Health) related to documentation, data, and reporting.
b. Support accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts through data collection, reporting, and audit preparation.
c. Track and document member incidents and complaints for reporting and quality review purposes.
d. Conduct HIPAA Privacy Audits at all sites.
3. Operational Workflow & Systems Support
a. Serve as EHR and software application (e.g., Eleos) support, including troubleshooting, user guidance, and triage of system issues, escalating to IT as needed.
b. Support program staff in daily use of operational, reporting, and documentation systems to promote accuracy and consistency.
c. Coordinate and support system training for new hires and existing staff in collaboration with program leadership.
d. Assist with rollout of updated workflows, reporting processes, forms, and system enhancements, including updating templates and communicating changes.
e. Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, user manuals, step-by-step job aids, and quick-reference guides.
f. Support technical data extraction and Power BI dashboard maintenance to facilitate reporting and analysis.
g. Assist with data retention and protection standards and processes
h. Oversee Park Center intranet and related updates

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 1-2 years of experience in data management, operations support, or EHR system administration, ideally in a healthcare or human services setting.
· 1-2 years of experience with reporting, auditing, and quality data validation.
· Experience with creation of quality improvement systems, staff training and workflow process development.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Direct service experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting
· Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), co-occurring disorders, or complex psychosocial needs
· Experience with EHR systems or similar clinical platforms.
· Experience assisting with accreditation, compliance, or regulatory reporting (e.g., CARF, state Medicaid programs).
· Knowledge of healthcare operational metrics and quality improvement processes.
· Experience with SQL and data analytics tools

SCHEDULE
The work schedule for this salaried position is Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times and is based on a 37.5-hour workweek.
