About This Position
We are seeking a Conference services set up houseperson to ensure our meeting spaces are prepared and welcoming for every event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meeting rooms by setting meeting room as designated in diagram
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of meeting spaces before and after use
Refresh meeting rooms
-- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and liaise with AV when necessary
- Monitor and report maintenance or equipment issues to ensure timely resolution
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event setup, facilities management, or related roles
- Basic technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment and conferencing tools
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and move meeting tables and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements
Requirements:Previous hotel experience in meeting room set up
