As a Medication Technician, you play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  
• Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition
  
• Review physician orders and coordinate follow-up care
  
• Support caregivers by providing clear direction on resident care needs
  
• Assist in coordinating medical appointments and care services
  
• Collaborate with Home Health and Hospice providers
  
• Help maintain a calm, safe environment while minimizing unnecessary hospital transfers
  
• Ensure proper inventory and ordering of clinical supplies
  
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  

• Provide guidance and oversight to caregivers during your shift
  
• Assist with shift assignments and coverage needs
  
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
  
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  
• Partner with nursing leadership on care quality and performance
  

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Medication Technician in Assisted Living or Memory Care
  
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation
  
• Experience working with elderly residents in a healthcare setting
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and responsive during overnight shifts
