General Labour- Inventory Control

The general labour inventory control position is to make sure that inventory levels are kept at the proper level to meet the needs of production. They are there when items enter and exit the building to make sure all of our customers' needs are met to the fullest extent.

The Successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving incoming inventory and orders
  • Make sure purchase orders match the quantities received and make the required updates if needed
  • Organize and maintain the order of parts within the warehouse before being released to production
  • Unpack, clean and separate/organize parts into the correct locations
  • Following quality, receiving, inventory, and kitting checklists
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Performing quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:

  • Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
  • The ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously when required
  • The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read/interpret drawings/breakdowns
  • Understanding the importance of producing quality products
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
