Pineapple Cove Academy is looking for individuals who love working with children in a great atmosphere. Our ideal candidate must be caring, loving, organized, have good leadership skills, and be dependable. Experience would be preferred, but not required. Salary is determined based on the individual’s education and experience in the field.

The Floater position is a dynamic and versatile role designed to provide essential support across multiple departments within an organization. The primary objective is to ensure operational continuity by filling in gaps wherever needed, adapting quickly to varying tasks and environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly transition between responsibilities, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The Floater acts as a critical resource to address fluctuating workloads, assist teams during peak periods, and contribute to overall organizational productivity. Ultimately, this position plays a key role in fostering a flexible and responsive workplace culture that meets the evolving needs of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different work environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency with computers and common office software.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a preschool support or floater role.
- Additional certifications related to Early Childhood Education
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support across classrooms by assisting teachers with daily routines, supervising children, engaging in activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment, while stepping in as needed to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows to ensure smooth daily operations across different classrooms.
- Assist in managing workload fluctuations by stepping in during peak times or staff absences to maintain productivity.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to understand task requirements and deliver timely results.
