Manager, Product Development Lifecycle

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Product Development Lifecycle in United States.

This role sits at the center of how software products move from idea to market-ready release within a complex, cross-functional environment. You will define and govern the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring clarity, consistency, and speed across all stages of delivery. Acting as a key connector between Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Commercial teams, you will translate technical and business inputs into structured, executive-ready decisions that enable confident product launches. You will also lead a team responsible for release readiness, helping ensure offerings meet quality, compliance, and commercialization standards. This is a high-impact position where process discipline meets strategic influence, directly shaping how products are delivered at scale. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and highly cross-functional, with strong visibility at the executive level. You will also play a central role in evolving lifecycle frameworks to make delivery more scalable and data-driven.

Accountabilities

You will own the full product development lifecycle framework, ensuring structured governance, readiness, and execution across all stages from concept to commercial release. This includes leading cross-functional coordination and ensuring all required deliverables are completed and aligned before product launch.

  • Lead and govern the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality execution across all stages (assessment, planning, build, compliance, commercialization, and release)
  • Drive business case development and executive approval processes, producing clear, decision-ready materials for senior stakeholders
  • Manage and develop a team responsible for product release readiness and lifecycle execution across multiple delivery models
  • Oversee lifecycle tracking and operational workflows within enterprise tools, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and data integrity
  • Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and execution readiness
  • Ensure release readiness by validating completion of required deliverables, approvals, and commercialization steps
  • Own lifecycle reporting, dashboards, and executive communications, identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in product delivery leadership, combined with the ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience leading software release or product delivery lifecycle processes
  • Proven experience in cross-functional product lifecycle or program management in enterprise environments
  • Strong ability to develop and present executive-level business cases for technical products or services
  • Excellent technical and business fluency, with the ability to quickly understand complex product concepts
  • Strong communication, leadership, and influence skills with experience driving alignment across diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with lifecycle tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Ability to lead teams, manage change, and improve operational processes in structured environments
Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) option with employer contributions (for eligible plans)
  • Industry-leading 401(k) retirement plan
  • Tuition assistance and professional development programs
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays, vacation, and wellness breaks
  • Paid parental leave and volunteer time off
  • Unlimited paid sick leave
  • Childcare support benefits for full-time employees
  • Inclusive, collaborative work environment focused on innovation and career growth
  • Flexible work arrangements depending on role and location
