Job Description

Contracts Attorney (B2B SaaS)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Contracts Attorney (B2B SaaS) in United States.

This role is focused on owning and accelerating the commercial contracting function within a fast-paced SaaS environment, supporting high-velocity deal flow across enterprise, partner, and public-sector customers. You will operate at the center of revenue operations, ensuring contracts are executed efficiently while maintaining strong legal and commercial safeguards. Acting as the primary legal expert for contracting, you will draft, negotiate, and close a wide range of agreements that directly impact business growth. The position requires a strong balance of speed and precision, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Security, and RevOps teams to streamline deal execution and reduce friction. This is a highly execution-driven role where your expertise directly supports revenue expansion and operational scalability. It offers a dynamic environment where legal judgment and business acumen are equally essential.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the end-to-end contracting lifecycle, ensuring agreements are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business and legal standards while supporting rapid deal velocity.

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage SaaS agreements, MSAs, order forms, renewals, amendments, and related commercial contracts
  • Handle NDAs, DPAs, security addenda, procurement terms, and partner agreements across enterprise and government clients
  • Drive deal execution by partnering with Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Security to remove contractual bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain contracting playbooks, templates, and fallback positions to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Identify, assess, and clearly communicate legal and commercial risks, including liability, indemnification, IP, and data/security obligations
  • Support public-sector and government contracting requirements, including compliance and flow-down terms
  • Track contracting performance metrics such as cycle time, negotiation trends, and deviation from standard terms
  • Improve contracting processes through automation, tooling, and workflow optimization initiatives
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SaaS contracting, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to operate independently in high-volume, fast-moving environments.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably within SaaS or technology companies
  • Strong experience negotiating enterprise SaaS agreements, MSAs, and procurement-driven contracts
  • Deep understanding of commercial contract structures, including liability, indemnity, IP, SLAs, and data/security terms
  • Experience supporting government or public-sector contracts strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage high contract volume while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Business-oriented mindset with a focus on enabling deals while managing risk
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly compensation: $175–$225 per hour depending on experience and location
  • Equity participation opportunities
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan with company contributions
  • Flexible PTO and paid parental leave
  • Mental health and wellness support programs
  • Professional development stipend for continued learning
  • Remote-first work environment across the continental U.S.
  • Inclusive workplace culture with strong focus on collaboration and autonomy
