This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling global data ecosystem, focused on building and optimizing high-performance data platforms that power analytics and business decision-making. You will design and maintain modern data pipelines supporting large-scale, distributed systems with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability. The environment is highly international, remote-first, and collaboration-driven, bringing together diverse engineering and analytics teams. You will play a key role in shaping data architecture practices, including the implementation of Medallion architecture. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data stack technologies and contribute directly to data-driven product evolution. Your work will have a tangible impact on improving data quality, accessibility, and business insights across global products.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Airbyte, DBT, and Snowflake
- Implement and evolve Medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers) to structure enterprise data efficiently
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows integrating data from multiple sources, including SQL, NoSQL databases, and APIs
- Improve data modeling practices, ensuring consistency, reliability, and high data quality standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance to ensure robustness and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, product, and business teams to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering and pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with DBT, including models, macros, tests, and snapshots
- Solid knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse solutions
- Proven experience designing and building scalable data warehouses and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as star and snowflake schemas
- Ability to work in cross-functional, remote, and fast-paced environments with strong communication skills
