Sr. Corporate Travel Advisor

This role supports complex, mission-critical travel operations for humanitarian organizations, ensuring safe, efficient, and fully compliant global mobility. You will manage high-volume, high-complexity international and domestic travel requests, often under tight timelines and for diverse, multilingual traveler groups. The position requires deep expertise in global travel logistics, airline regulations, and specialized fare structures, including government-funded travel compliance. You will design and price intricate multi-destination itineraries, frequently to remote or challenging locations worldwide. Working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, you will act as a trusted advisor delivering precise, reliable, and high-touch travel support. This is a highly autonomous yet collaborative role where accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service are essential.

Accountabilities:
  • Arrange and manage domestic and international travel services, including flights, car rentals, rail, and ground transportation
  • Design and price complex, multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries, often for urgent or remote travel needs
  • Apply airline tariffs, refund/exchange rules, and humanitarian or government-funded travel regulations, including Fly America Act compliance
  • Communicate international travel requirements clearly, ensuring travelers understand documentation, restrictions, and policies
  • Utilize GDS systems and corporate booking tools to execute reservations and manage client accounts accurately
  • Maintain compliance with corporate travel policies, preferred vendor agreements, and contractual service level standards
  • Monitor fares, issue quotes, and optimize travel solutions using consolidators, airline systems, and online tools
  • Provide end-to-end travel support, including ticketing, changes, refunds, and maintaining client ticket banks
  • Ensure confidentiality, PCI compliance, and accurate handling of sensitive customer and payment data
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while managing a high volume of annual transactions and meeting performance targets
  • Stay current on industry updates, airline regulations, and global travel requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of international corporate travel consulting experience
  • Strong expertise in complex global travel planning and itinerary construction
  • Proficiency with GDS systems (Sabre strongly preferred) and corporate booking tools
  • Deep understanding of airline fare rules, ticketing processes, and refund/exchange regulations
  • Knowledge of humanitarian travel requirements and government-funded travel policies is highly desirable
  • Strong geography knowledge, including international cities, airports, and carrier codes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support multicultural and multilingual clients
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including evenings and occasional extended hours
