The Successful Candidate:
If you are looking for an exciting place to start your career, HBG Design is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with the ability to be a self-starter and to build upon skills by seeking out responsibilities and learning from past experiences and through exposure to other designers. This position requires a passion for design through research, travel, and exposure to trends, products, and spaces. The successful candidate will also possess high level analytical and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop design sketches with input from others.
Determine furniture selections while collaborating with other designers.
Regularly monitor and track internal deadlines set by Senior Interior Designer to ensure timely project delivery.
Develop finishes and material boards in collaboration with other designers.
Develop the design for small projects or portions of projects with assistance from others.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from Interior Design/Interior Architecture program.
0-3 years practical experience in interior design.
Exhibit intermediate knowledge of construction methods, costs, and how it relates to design and FF&E costs.
Possess high aptitude for presentation skills, both verbally and graphically, utilizing programs such as Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
