About This Position

About the Role:

As an Insulator 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation materials on various surfaces, including pipes, ducts, and walls. Your work will directly impact the energy efficiency and environmental sustainability of our facilities. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all insulation work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in insulation installation and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to insulation work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in insulation installation and maintenance
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience with a variety of insulation materials and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, walls, and other surfaces as needed
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific surfaces
  • Ensure that all insulation work meets safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all insulation work completed
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all insulation work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards

Skills:

As an Insulator 1, you will use your knowledge of insulation materials and techniques to install and maintain insulation on various surfaces. You will need to be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and to work independently or as part of a team.
