Summary of Position

Lead, coordinate, and implement the planning, training, and organization necessary to achieve objectives in sales, cost control, employee hiring/training/retention, guest service/satisfaction, product quality, and cleanliness/sanitation. Ensure compliance with all operating standards for a CSC location.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide key support to the GM as a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Salad Chick
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
  • Create a welcoming environment and deliver responsive, friendly, and courteous service to all guests
  • Ensure consistent preparation and service of products according to CSC standards
  • Achieve objectives for sales, service, quality, facility appearance, and cleanliness through employee training and a positive work environment
  • Maintain cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Make employment and termination decisions in line with GM guidelines
  • Fill in operationally where needed to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Continually develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional growth
  • Complete required paperwork, forms, and reports promptly and organized
  • Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure correct product count and condition upon delivery, following receiving policies and procedures
  • Oversee timely completion of employee performance appraisals
  • Schedule labor to optimize guest service, product quality, and operating standards while maintaining labor cost goals
  • Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that may involve exposure to noise, heat, cold, or other elements.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Effective interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and maintain its integrity.

Requirements:

  • Managers, if hired, will be required to partake in 2 - week training in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Must have a valid Food Manager’s Certification and have Knowledge of local health and safety standards.
  • Must be able to pass a background screener based on the company’s matrix.
  • Must complete all competencies at the Shift Leader and Team Member levels.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong understanding of administrative processes, including financial management.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in the restaurant industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to assess and provide input on team dynamics, conflict resolution, and employee relations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting (25-50 pounds).
  • Ability to travel to other restaurants, area office, training center, etc., as needed.

RGM of the Future:

Assist in Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
