Manufacturing Tech I at EXACTEC LLC – Chaska, Minnesota

Exactec, Inc. is recruiting for a CNC Laser Operator in the Southwest metro area. If you are a reliable, hardworking operator with a customer focused attitude please give us a call. The position is for our 1st shift with the following hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30pm

Responsibilities include:

· Read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for machined plastic components.

· Review prints and programs with fellow employees.

· Possess a strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Work with minimal supervision.

· Use geometry, shop mathematics and calculator proficiently as well as common measurements tools.

· Set up work to be performed in an efficient manner.

· Inspect work performed to meet tolerances per Exactec Quality Policy.

· Maintain a clean work area.

· Communicate last of work to Production Supervisor to maintain efficiencies.

· Good interpersonal communication and written skills

· Attention to detail and pride in your work

· Work cooperatively with fellow employees

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Production Supervisor

Job Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Manufacturing experience preferred

· Experience running CNC laser preferred but Exactec will train

· Ability to maintain required tolerances

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or move heavier objects with proper equipment

· Mastercam experience a plus
