Supervises: General Mechanic and helper, when assigned

Responsible to: Engineering Supervisor and Plant Engineer

DEFINITION OF POSITION
-
The Maintenance Specialist is an integral part of the Engineering-Maintenance team. He performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital building, performing skilled work in installing, repairing, adjusting, and trouble-shooting various HVAC systems and associated equipment. He also assists other maintenance personnel in daily duties and projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional
-
High school graduate or completion of GED
-
Three or four years of HVAC on-the-job training or completion of four years of approved apprenticeship.

Drivers license required
