POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Executive will contribute to the company sales objectives by increasing sales for Turf Distributors in our Business to Business and Retail channel. An Account Executive is expected to increase volume at our current B2B partners, while acquiring new customers by prospecting, networking and engaging new opportunities. New customers will be targeted in the B2B/Retail channel while also including larger contractors, turf resellers and all potential sellers of turf. This individual will be adept at managing single and multiple location partners in the assigned market while maintaining a consistent pipeline of new business. The Account Executive must have a strong business acumen with a willingness to think outside the box to identify solutions.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consult with customers to assess their needs and recommend suitable products.
Demonstrate and explain products, ensuring customers understand features and installation processes.
Meet sales targets and objectives as set by the Director of Sales.
Develop and implement a daily action plan to drive sales.
Follow up on sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and relationship growth.
Stay informed about current products, services, and local competitors.
Track and manage leads and accounts using CRM software.
Conduct regular follow-up on leads, referrals, and established accounts.
Make outbound lead generation calls and track progress in CRM.
Participate in marketing events like trade shows, fairs, and in-store promotions.
Maintain in-store displays, literature, and samples, including transporting metal displays in a personal vehicle.
Identify and secure new business through networking, social media, and cold calling.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams, maintaining strong relationships with Sales Support.
Offer creative solutions for business growth and new opportunities.

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Excellent sales and customer service capabilities.
Ability to anticipate and address customer needs.
Skilled at recommending products based on customer preferences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiar with CRM software.
Knowledgeable in effective lead generation techniques (cold calling, social media, etc.).
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on customer experience.
Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years in sales
- Prior experience with Artificial Turf, Landscape, or flooring sales
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- $65,000 + commission.
