We are currently looking for a Software Quality Engineer in India.As a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of a cloud-based access platform. You will design, develop, and execute both automated and manual test suites, using Python and Pytest, to validate APIs and device-level functionality. Working closely with engineering, QA, and product teams, you will contribute to building high-quality release candidates while accelerating CI/CD pipelines. Your work will directly impact product stability and user experience for customers worldwide. This role offers the chance to solve complex technical challenges, implement scalable testing frameworks, and improve development processes in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment. You will have the opportunity to influence product quality and security across multiple platforms and devices. Collaboration, technical expertise, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests for internal and external APIs, device components, and SaaS applications.
• Create comprehensive test plans, cases, and BDD frameworks, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum sprint deliverables.
• Identify, document, and manage defects in Jira, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality, production-ready release candidates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to share ideas, review test strategies, and refine processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Enhance test automation and frameworks to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
• Support product and engineering teams by providing feedback on system design, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 36 years of experience in software testing, including test planning, case creation, and automated test execution.
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest for test framework development.
• Experience testing SaaS applications, APIs, and device-level components.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and rapid release cycles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to perform manual testing when needed.
