The Manager, Legal Operations will design, implement, and oversee processes that support contract management, vendor procurement, compliance, and audit workflows. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, Security, and Operations teams, you will provide operational clarity, reduce risk, and improve process efficiency. This position combines project management, compliance oversight, and legal operational expertise, offering the opportunity to build scalable systems that enable business growth. The role is highly collaborative, requires adaptability, and directly impacts operational excellence and organizational risk mitigation. You will be part of a dynamic, innovative team with the opportunity to shape best-in-class legal operations practices.Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end vendor procurement workflows, including intake, risk assessments, approvals, and onboarding.
  • Support Sales and internal teams in contracts, redlines, and operational legal matters.
  • Administer and optimize contract lifecycle management tools, workflows, templates, and reporting.
  • Maintain visibility of contractual obligations, renewals, and compliance milestones.
  • Manage compliance frameworks, evidence collection, and continuous controls monitoring (SOC, privacy, or other relevant frameworks).
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to diligence requests efficiently.
  • Develop scalable playbooks, documentation, and training materials to improve operational efficiency across Legal.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on privacy, data governance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 510+ years of experience in legal operations, senior paralegal work, compliance operations, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Ironclad, and compliance/audit tools (e.g., Vanta).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement workflows, vendor reviews, and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to create scalable processes, documentation, and internal training materials.
  • A builder mindset: comfortable creating structure from ambiguity and improving processes over time.
  • Bonus points for notary certification, knowledge of GDPR/CCPA, experience with international compliance, or prior high-growth/startup experience.
