About the Role:
Location: Onsite in Easton, MA. Occasional travel may be required.
Position Description:
- Research market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new products relevant to the pool and construction industry.
- Optimize purchasing processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records, including purchase orders, vendor contracts, pricing, and delivery documentation.
- Ensure supplier price catalogs are accurate.
- Support strategic purchasing execution through analytical support for Purchasing Director and Purchasing Managers.
- Departmental KPI tracking and reporting of results.
What You’ll Bring:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience,
- 2 + years working knowledge within a proven ERP system (NetSuite a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in purchasing systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills utilizing Excel and business intelligence tools.
- Materials and equipment knowledge (pool pumps, filters, plumbing, concrete, steel, finishes, etc.) a plus
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
