About This Position

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Strategy & Analytics) leads Urbane Cafe's digital strategy by leveraging data, insights, and performance analytics to guide decision-making and optimize marketing effectiveness across all digital channels. This role is responsible for interpreting performance data, identifying opportunities, and providing clear, actionable recommendations that support brand goals and drive traffic, sales, and guest engagement. They partner closely with marketing leadership, cross-functional teams, and external agencies to ensure strategies are effectively implemented and continuously improved. This individual must demonstrate strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. They will play a key role in shaping Urbane Cafe's digital roadmap, scaling best practices, and ensuring digital initiatives align with organizational objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Performance & Analysis – Review and evaluate performance across all digital marketing channels, including paid media, email, app, CRM, website, social media, and third-party platforms. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities while providing recommendations rooted in data and business impact.
  2. Insight Development & Strategic Direction – Build clear narratives from data to explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what should be done next. Provide strategic recommendations on budget allocation, channel mix, campaign direction, creative approach, and audience targeting.
  3. Business Impact Measurement – Connect digital performance to key café-level outcomes, such as traffic, sales, guest frequency, loyalty engagement, and app growth. Support forecasting and long-range digital planning.
  4. Reporting & Communication – Create executive-level summaries and performance briefings for senior leadership and marketing partners. Communicate insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to inform brand decisions.
  5. Cross-Functional & Agency Partnership – Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and the Director of Marketing to ensure strategic alignment and executional accuracy. Participate in reviewing creative development, media plans, targeting strategies, and campaign optimizations.
  6. Digital Tools, Systems & Innovation – Maintain deep familiarity with major digital platforms, analytics tools, and emerging technologies. Stay current on digital trends, privacy laws, platform changes, and attribution methodologies. Evaluate new tools or capabilities that support brand growth.
  7. Brand Initiatives & Growth Support – Provide analytical and strategic support for new café openings, promotions, loyalty initiatives, and systemwide growth programs. Help build scalable frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and digital best practices for a multi-location brand.
  8. Professional Development & Research – Maintain ongoing learning in digital marketing, analytics, measurement, and strategy to ensure Urbane Cafe remains competitive and informed as the digital landscape evolves.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience with a strong focus on strategy and analytics
  • Deep understanding of paid media platforms (e.g., Google, Meta)
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, dashboards, and BI platforms
  • Experience with email, app, CRM, and loyalty marketing ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to inform strategy and optimize performance
  • Experience working with or managing external agencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience with restaurant, retail, or multi-location brands strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 per year
