This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Industrial Architect in United States.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of complex industrial and critical infrastructure projects across highly technical environments such as chemical plants, utilities, pharmaceutical facilities, data centers, and large-scale industrial sites. You will be responsible for leading architectural design efforts from concept through construction, ensuring compliance, technical excellence, and alignment with client and regulatory requirements. Working in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will engage closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders to shape high-impact infrastructure solutions. The position requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to operate in fast-moving, flexible project settings. You will also contribute to project planning, design validation, and technical leadership across teams. This is a hands-on role where your architectural decisions directly influence the performance, safety, and sustainability of critical facilities.
- Lead architectural design studies, develop design concepts, and define technical criteria for complex industrial and infrastructure projects
- Review and validate CAD drawings, models, construction documents, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and client requirements
- Prepare technical reports, construction specifications, and detailed equipment and material requisitions
- Provide technical guidance across interdisciplinary teams and support analytical studies and design coordination
- Interface with suppliers, review vendor drawings, and perform technical bid evaluations
- Coordinate design activities with engineering and construction teams throughout project execution
- Approve and issue detailed design and construction documentation, including providing professional architectural seals when required
- Support project planning activities including staffing estimates and execution strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial or infrastructure design
- Active professional architectural registration is required
- Strong expertise in architectural design standards, methodologies, and construction practices
- Proficiency with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related architectural software
- Experience working on large-scale industrial, utility, or complex facility projects
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments
- Ability to work in flexible, fast-paced project settings and travel to project sites as needed
- Competitive salary range: $88,400 – $154,700 USD
