Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Partnerships

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Partnerships in the United States.

In this senior executive role, you will lead enterprise-level partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, shaping how innovative direct-to-market prescription strategies are built and scaled. You will operate at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and commercial strategy, driving high-value agreements that enable manufacturers to engage more directly with payors, employers, and patients. The position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can build a pipeline, engage C-level stakeholders, and close complex deals. You will play a key role in defining go-to-market approaches for digital prescription services and direct pharmacy marketplace solutions. This is a highly visible role where your work directly influences revenue growth, market positioning, and industry transformation. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and built around innovation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute the pharmaceutical manufacturer partnership strategy, including target accounts, engagement models, and revenue objectives
  • Originate, negotiate, and close complex enterprise agreements supporting digital prescription services and direct pharma marketplace initiatives
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent deal progression and revenue forecasting accuracy
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical executives across brand, market access, pricing, and commercial functions
  • Position the organization as a leading strategic partner for manufacturers’ direct access and market expansion initiatives
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership to align deal structures and accelerate execution
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to refine deal strategy and improve decision-making
  • Represent the organization externally as a market ambassador, strengthening credibility and industry influence
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or market access within the pharmaceutical or life sciences ecosystem, including at least 5+ years working directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers. You have a proven track record of originating and closing large, complex commercial agreements that generate measurable revenue impact. Strong relationships with senior pharmaceutical stakeholders are essential, along with deep knowledge of manufacturer economics, pricing structures, and gross-to-net dynamics. You are highly skilled at navigating complex organizations and aligning multiple senior decision-makers around shared outcomes. Executive presence, persuasive communication, and strong negotiation capabilities are critical to success in this role. You are comfortable working with CRM tools, data-driven insights, and modern digital platforms, and you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ($220,000 – $260,000) plus variable compensation
  • Stock options offering long-term equity participation
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) employer contributions
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Flexible time off and 12 paid holidays
  • Opportunity to work in an early-stage, high-growth healthcare technology company
  • Entrepreneurial environment with high impact and ownership
  • Exposure to cutting-edge digital healthcare and marketplace innovation
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on impact, innovation, and customer value.
