This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that client implementations meet the highest standards of HR and regulatory compliance within complex, multi-state employment environments. You will act as a key strategic advisor, bridging legal requirements with operational execution to support scalable and compliant workforce solutions for clients. Working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to embed compliance into every stage of the client lifecycle. This position requires both deep technical HR expertise and strong leadership capability to guide cross-functional execution. You will help clients navigate evolving labor laws while enabling business growth and operational efficiency. - Lead compliance strategy across client implementations, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour, discrimination, benefits, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.
- Oversee HR and compliance workstreams to ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into workforce solutions and client operations.
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams, ensuring compliant, efficient, and scalable HR service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify compliance risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to regulatory agency standards such as EEOC, DOL, and OSHA.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of compliant HR processes, policies, and implementation frameworks.
- Provide guidance on HR systems and tools, ensuring accurate application of compliance requirements within HRIS environments.
- Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and regulatory alignment throughout service delivery.
This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, combined with at least 6+ years of HR experience with deep expertise in employment law and regulatory compliance. Candidates should also bring a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, with demonstrated ability to guide teams and influence outcomes. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations is essential, along with experience working with agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and OSHA. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and client-facing environments is critical. Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably UKG Ready, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in complex, fast-moving environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with both internal teams and external clients are key.
