The Position:

The Legal Intern will support the Legal team on a variety of research, compliance, and operational initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of healthcare law and corporate compliance, with a focus on legal research, policy review, and data analysis. The intern will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments and gain exposure to real-world legal and regulatory challenges in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct legal research across federal and state laws and regulations, including tracking and summarizing updates
• Assist in reviewing, updating, and organizing internal policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Support cross-functional initiatives by gathering information and collaborating with internal departments
• Analyze and validate data related to compliance, vendor management, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits, documentation reviews, and process improvement initiatives
• Help maintain organized records, files, and legal documentation
• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday variable hours within standard business hours, 15 hours per week

• Currently pursuing a degree in law, legal studies, pre-law, business, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with data, spreadsheets, or policy documentation
