Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems is seeking a Software Engineer for work in San Diego, CA. Our engineering efforts provide the Navy with training for SIGINT systems in classroom-and onboard-environments to train and reinforce operation procedures during deployments. Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop software and systems solutions for training sailors on SIGINT systems
Create and enhance software applications using Java, React, and web-based technologies
Develop software in a full-stack environment, with backends that integrate with external systems for training purposes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience with Java (or other Object Oriented Languages – work is mostly in Java)
Knowledge of software development methods and workflows
Knowledge of Git, or other CM software
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. citizens
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Maven is a plus
Knowledge of cloud based application development and deployment is a plus
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access
Pay Range:
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
