Job Description
SUMMARY:
Employee will participate in development of survey project deliverables and engineering plan development. Specific tasks include importing and processing of survey field data, data analysis, and survey drawing production. Employee will also contribute to development of civil engineering plan sets in AutoCAD for various types of design projects. Assignments will be primarily office based with some fieldwork included.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Three or more years of survey technician and AutoCAD experience required.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Technical or vocational degree or certificate in related discipline a plus.
- Hydrographic survey data processing preferred.
- Hypack experience preferred.
- Experience with aerial LiDAR data collection and processing required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across various projects.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conventional survey data importing and processing.
- Aerial LiDAR data importing, processing, and manipulating.
- CAD drafting (figures, surfaces, alignments, plan sheet production, etc.).
- Proposal research and preparation.
- Client communications including promptly addressing and responding to client inquiries and requests via various communication platforms.

- Ability to travel semi-occasionally.
- Ability to walk long distances.
