This is a senior technical leadership role focused on defining and driving the architectural direction of large-scale distributed systems across multiple products and engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping long-term technical strategy, ensuring system-wide consistency, scalability, and reliability across complex platform ecosystems. Acting as a bridge between engineering execution and strategic vision, you will influence decisions that impact the entire organization’s technology landscape. The role involves solving highly complex, ambiguous architectural challenges while establishing best practices and engineering standards at scale. You will work closely with senior engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to align technical investments with business goals. This is a high-impact position where your architectural decisions will directly shape the evolution of global communication platforms.

• Define and communicate the long-term architectural vision across multiple products and engineering domains.
• Lead cross-product architecture reviews and establish engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Drive foundational technical initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Solve highly complex and ambiguous system design challenges at enterprise scale.
• Mentor and guide principal and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product and executive leadership to align architecture with strategic business objectives.
• Influence and harmonize architectural decisions across distributed teams and global engineering organizations.

• 15+ years of experience designing and scaling distributed systems and large-scale platforms.
• Proven ability to define technical vision and architecture strategy at an enterprise or company-wide level.
• Strong expertise in system design, including scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and solving highly complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrated success mentoring senior engineering talent and elevating organizational engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills with strong ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, multi-region systems, and observability at scale is a plus.
• Background in high-growth SaaS, platform, or communications companies is highly desirable.
