This role sits at the intersection of virtual engagement, pharmaceutical sales, and patient-focused education, supporting healthcare professionals in identifying and addressing unmet patient needs. You will use phone and digital channels to engage physicians, increase disease awareness, and support the adoption of innovative therapies. Working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with field teams and client stakeholders to expand access and drive meaningful impact. Success in this role requires strong clinical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships remotely. You will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes by ensuring healthcare providers have the information and support they need to make informed treatment decisions.
- Engage healthcare professionals through virtual channels to increase disease awareness, identify potential patients, and support therapy initiation.
- Collaborate with field teams to expand access, coordinate outreach strategies, and strengthen account-level engagement.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and compelling product and disease-state education aligned with brand messaging and compliance guidelines.
- Manage daily sales call activity to optimize reach, productivity, and achievement of sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers through effective communication and rapport-building.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, follow-up actions, and insights in accordance with compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve access, demand generation, and stakeholder engagement through proactive outreach and networking.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare engagement.
- Minimum of 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with rare disease experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in virtual sales or remote customer engagement required.
- Strong clinical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and therapeutic information.
- Excellent verbal communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills in a virtual environment.
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to engage customers across multiple digital and phone-based channels.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and perform in a performance-driven environment.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
