Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support business planning and financial performance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Ensure accurate financial reporting through accrual accounting principles and strong internal controls
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction approvals
- Manage financial software systems and budgeting / forecasting tools
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support company growth
- Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and key stakeholders
- Lead payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance across employee compensation
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations processes
- Support performance management, employee development, and HR policy implementation
- Administer employee benefits programs and support employee questions / issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
- Maintain a strong partnership across departments to support business operations and employee engagement
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 6+ years of Accounting/Finance experience required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Experience overseeing AP / AR and corporate accounting functions
- Experience managing payroll and HR processes including recruiting, hiring, and benefits administration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must be willing to work onsite full-time
Preferred Experience:
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience with financial planning software and budgeting tools
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or industrial environments
- Experience supporting both finance and HR functions in a small to mid-sized company
